WHO IS GERALD POH?

A former alumni of Chung Cheng High School (Main), Gerald graduated with a nett L1R6 of 2 points for his GCE 'O' levels.

Gerald's grades came in within the top 5% of the entire Singapore O level cohort and was therefore awarded a scholarship from MOE.

Gerald was then offered his first choice to continue his studies in Hwa Chong Junior College and pursue his scholarship.

Throughout Gerald's secondary school education, he was also his CCA's (Table Tennis) Captain from Secondary 1 to 4, while taking on leadership roles in class every year as well.

What Is Your Lesson Structure Like?

Here at A1 For Math @ Gerald Poh, we go through the entire syllabus in-detail within 10 months.

We are able to condense 4 years of teaching into less than 10 months because we remain laser-focused and only go through concepts and questions that you will be tested in exams.

This prevents you from learning "additional" information and only spend your time wisely on the things that actually matter.

Each topic in your syllabus will minimally have 1 lecture and 1 tutorial session each.

Lecture sessions are where Gerald will breakdown every fundamental concept you need to know and show you how to apply them to answer questions.

Tutorial sessions are where Gerald will go through every single TYS question and show you how to analyze the questions to figure out what concepts they are testing you on. Gerald will also show you how to contextualize your understanding of fundamental concepts to answer the question straight to the point and secure your marks.

Can I Still Join Even If I'm Not Sec 4/5?

Yes you can.

We run through the entire syllabus every year within 10 months.

This means that even if you are Secondary 3, you will still be able to learn along up till whatever is covered by your syllabus for that year.

However, we find that secondary 4/5 students who are taking their GCE exams this year tend to benefit the best as they have had some experience with every chapter within the syllabus before.

What Time Are The Lessons?

Our weekly live E-Math classes will be held from 10am to 1130am every Saturday.

Our weekly live A-Math classes will be held from 230pm to 4pm every Saturday.

What If I Cannot Make It At The Call Timing?

All live calls are recorded and immediately uploaded into the drive within the same day.

Therefore, even if you cannot join during the live session, you will be able to still learn from the recordings and refer back to them anytime you want.

You will have 24/7 access to all calls recordings, notes, questions, answers and cheat sheets in the Master Google Drive for as long as you are our student.
